Larwood Park
Larwood Park is a brand-new community built on the edge of Kirkby in Ashfield that sits within a flourishing green environment of woodland, pocket parks, walkways, cycle routes and playing fields.
The site, due to complete in 2018, has been named after the renowned local cricketer and fast bowler Harold Larwood, who was born in nearby Nuncargate. As a testament to Larwood, the private housing development will also benefit from newly built sports facilities on its doorstep, offering a sports pavilion, multi-use games area and netball court, as well as cricket and rugby pitches for the local community.
Taylor Maxwell have worked closely with main contractors Westerman Homes since the earliest phases of the scheme in 2014, delivering circa 1.8million facing bricks to the site to date. The development of 225no 2, 3 and 4-bedroom family homes have been built using a complementary palette of traditional facing bricks, including the Cadeby Red Multi from TM’s exclusive Select Range.
The Select Range is a series of sixteen facing bricks which are produced by industry leading manufacturers solely for Taylor Maxwell, and offer a range of facing brick finishes, including wire-cut and stock options, at very competitive price points.
The blend of facing bricks chosen has successfully and harmoniously integrated the new housing development within its lush green neighbourhood, which was a vital requirement for this scheme.
