The annual Brick Awards celebrate the best examples of clay brick in our built environment. Each year the awards attract over 300 entries from leading architects, housebuilders, developers and contractors, across 15 exciting categories.

We are very pleased to have supplied seven of the fantastic projects shortlisted across a number of categories in this year's shortlist, including Muswell Hill by pH+ architects and Gilbert Ash, built using the Grove Orange Multi from our exclusive Select Range of facing bricks. The striking North London project has been shortlisted in the Large Housing Development category.

OMI Architect's Wilburn Basin is a second nomination in the Large Housing Development category that we are proud to have supplied in partnership with Renaker Build and Cara Brickwork. The Manchester development provides 491 three, two and one-bedroom apartments, townhouses and garden apartments along with 7,500sq. ft. of commercial floor space at street level.

Also shortlisted in the Large Housing Development category is Royal Albert Wharf by Maccreanor Lavington architects and main contractors Galliford Try. Taylor Maxwell worked closely with Maccreanor Lavington over a number of years to design and develop a bespoke blend of facing bricks that would allude to the buildings of the area’s industrial past. This precise choice of unique brickwork, was ultimately named by the architects as the ‘Queens Dock Blend’. The project is also shortlisted in the Urban Regeneration category.
