As part of Clerkenwell Design Week, join Bond Bryan for an engaging session at our newly refurbished showroom. This talk and discussion explores the challenges and opportunities of re-use through the lens of sustainable and regenerative design. The presentation will draw on insights gathered during recent internal ‘Circular Thinking Accelerator Sessions’; and offer an honest, practice-based perspective on Bond Bryan's experiences re-using existing buildings. It'll especially focus on where and how (and how successfully) we’ve applied the key principles of regenerative design identified by Architects Declare and the Regenerative Architecture Index: being a good ancestor, co-evolving with nature and creating a just space for people. The session will conclude with a call to action for our industry: regenerative re-use is vital for the future of our (built) environment.

This event is perfect for anyone interested in traditional craftsmanship and architecture.

This event will provide an in-depth introduction to the history and techniques behind glazed brick production, with a focus on Tichelaar’s renowned glazing methods. This session will begin with a comprehensive overview of glazed bricks, offering valuable insights into the traditional and modern glazing techniques. Attendees will then witness a live demonstration showcasing the glazing and decorating process, providing a deeper understanding of the craft and technical expertise involved. The event will conclude with a hands-on workshop, where participants will have the opportunity to glazed and decorate their own brick.

Step into a world of creativity and innovation at our Lego building event. This exciting experience provides an opportunity to put your creativity and structural ingenuity to the test, all while engaging in team-based challenges using Lego bricks.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned builder, this event is designed to inspire and entertain as you collaborate with others to complete various challenges. Participants will be grouped into teams of five, fostering teamwork and creative problem-solving.
