Seven Kings Primary School is a brand new education project in Ilford which provides a state of the art facility for the Redbridge Borough.
The new school caters for 840 pupils from the age of 4 to 11 and is part of an all-through school with the existing Seven Kings High School, which is situated on the opposite side of the road. Brand new facilities include an extensive landscaped inner courtyard and a rooftop astro-turf playing area.
TM were approached to provide the façade to create a strong street frontage to the prominent corner location of both Ley Street and Perth Road.
The genius unitised cladding was supplied in multiple shades of blue in keeping with the school’s corporate colours.
The genius unitised allows the architect to be able to select a precise prefabricated façade system with the alignment accuracy associated with genius unitised applications. genius unitised façades comprise of prefabricated units, which are typically the width of the facade bay and one or two storeys high. Each panel is fully clad and sealed off site, allowing the units to be moved to site for fast installation on to pre-prepared fixings to either steel or concrete frames.
The genius unitised panels can use any combination of profiles, to give building designers complete aesthetic flexibility.
